Family Activities at Bedford Congress Hall

There are two main family services each Sunday at 10.30am and 6.00pm.

Salvation Army meetings (services) at Bedford Congress Hall have a relaxed family atmosphere and include traditional hymns, original Salvation Army songs and modern gospel music, Bible readings, members of the congregation talking about their Christian experiences and presentations by the various musical groups.

These include Bedford Congress Hall Band, Songsters, Young People's Band, Young People's Singing Company and the Worship Team a group of dedicate young Christian musicians.

As well as Sunday meetings there is a full programme of other events throughout the week as shown below.

So come and join in any of these family activities...there's a niche for you at the Army. And one things certain...you won't feel strange because there's always a warm welcome for you at the Bedford Congress Hall.

If you're a little apprehensive about coming to a Salvation Army hall for the first time there's an easy way to try it out. Just come down to the Embankment any Sunday afternoon around 5.00pm from June to September  and listen to one of our open-air meetings...and you'll get the flavour of a Salvation Army meeting.

In this way you don't have to do anything but stand, or sit, and listen to what is happening. As well as lively songs and tuneful attractive, music you'll hear an uplifting message from the Bible that may well help you during the week - then you'll be ready to take the next step; come and enjoy one of our services at Bedford Congress Hall.
