Bedford Congress Hall Songsters

Bedford Congress Hall Songsters are an adult mixed voice choir that contributes to all Sunday services...complementing our worship with a selection of lively gospel and devotional songs.

Scriptural based songs are sung with the intention of convincing men and women of the power of God's Love. God speaks through art, dance and music and influences many through the singing of the Gospel truths that are a major part of Salvation Army worship.

Our choir is over 40 strong and participates in two worship services every Sunday and has a mid-week rehearsal to prepare for Sunday worship.

Included in every songster practice is a time for contemplation and devotion when individual members read from the Bible. Each Songster is a committed Christian volunteer and wears a Salvation Army uniform purchased out of their own pocket without any financial subsidy from The Salvation Army. Each songster is expected to attend all meetings, engagements and rehearsals.
